After a wonderful time at Leh, the adventure leads to the far side of Ladakh where our adventure slowly begins. On leaving the modern civilization heading towards pure mountain wilderness, around the country of Yak herder and highlanders the nomads. A walk through high passes crossing icy streams and camping on wide green meadows overlooking breathtaking views of stunning landscapes.
Adventure heads further towards emerald-colored Tso Mori-Ri, one of the largest lakes around Ladakh and close to our destination. Having rest day to enjoy a short hike, excursion around amazing scenery, and then towards our main highlight at Chamser Khang-Ri.
From Tso Mori-Ri Lake at Korzok small village, walk leads finally to Chamser Khang-Ri base camp. To make the climb shorter and much accessible where High or Advanced Camp is necessary and possible.
The climb of Chamser Khang-Ri, one of the highest peaks around Zingchen and Markha valley. A peak for all adventurers and trekkers, the mountain of less technical challenge, the grade is ‘F’ means “Facial Easy”.
Start the climb early morning before dawn to avoid heavy wind, strong sunlight and to catch a clear stunning panorama. On reaching the top of Chamser Khang-Ri Peak summit, after a strenuous long climb rewards with glorious views.
Enjoy an incredible panorama of surrounding high snow-capped peaks with vast scenic landscapes of a wide plateau, stretching towards Tibet.
After achieving the goal and triumph of the adventure, return journey to the village of Peldo, and then to Leh. At Leh for last overnight halt around Ladakh after a most exciting and marvelous adventure with Khang-Ri Trek & Climb.

Day 01. Arrival at Leh Khusok Bakula Rimpoche airport 3,500 m
transfer to hotel 3,500 m.
Day 02: Free day at Leh acclimatization visit local market, Royal Palace Khar.
Day 03: After Breakfast Tour of Shey Thiksey Hemis Monastery at Leh hotel.
Day 04: Drive to Zingchen and trek to Yurutse 4, 148 m -05 hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Shingo 4, 267 m via Ganda-La pass 4,963 m -06 hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Shara 3, 755 m – 07 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Hankar 4,030 m-06 hrs.
Day 08: Trek to Yaripulu 4600 m -07 hrs.
Day 09: Trek to Tso Kar 4, 100 m via Zalungkarpo-La 4,968 m-07 hrs.

Seasons for Zingchen Markha Valley-Kharnak Tso Mori-Ri Chamser Khang-Ri:
The best time for this wonderful adventurous trek and climb is from late spring to early autumn seasons, from mid-April and May, as well during the monsoon time of June to mid-September. As all Ladakh and Changthang valley falls within rain-shadow, where heavy black monsoon clouds are blocked by Himalaya high mountains.
April & May are fine clear days most of the time, with longer sun-light hours but can get overcast in the late afternoon with chances of snow sometimes.
Autumn/fall is another best time for treks and tours around Ladakh, with a fine clear day. But days are shorter due to sunlight hours can be freezing cold, especially in the morning, and night times will be clear with bright starry nights. Chances of snowfall during the walk sometimes.
For interested people can visit Ladakh for a tour and trekking during summer times of June to August also. As Ladakh whole area falls within a rain shadow area. Where monsoon dark rain clouds blocked by the great Himalayas and that is why Ladakh most areas are dry with less rainfall.
Religion and Culture:
Ladakh and the North West Himalaya are populated by Ladakhi people descendants of a mixed tribal race of Mons of North India, and Dards of Baltistan with Mongols of Central Asia. History shows the Mons were the first immigrants, followed by Dards who founded different settlements in the Indus valley.
Ladakh is a country of strong Buddhism religion and culture similar to the Tibetan heritage of ancient Buddhism custom, where one can visit its many old monasteries of great religious significance.
